About us

School Partnerships Alliance provides life-changing opportunities for children through the creation and support of equitable, sustainable cross-sector school partnerships.

What we do

The School Partnerships Alliance promotes and commissions new research and offers a wide range of professional development opportunities, consultancy and auditing to support education professionals working in Senior Leadership and Partnership roles, across all school types.

We collaborate with UK schools, local and national government, independent educational bodies and organisations who are invested in supporting cross-sector school partnerships to serve the needs of their local communities.

Our combined experience, expertise, networks and specialist knowledge enables the S.P.A. to facilitate, broker and support mutually beneficial school partnerships that improve educational outcomes, create aspiration and widen opportunity for thousands of children across the UK.

Our Mission

We want to transform young lives, by ensuring that state-independent school partnership works to embed itself into the fabric of the school system; one which is both self-improving and sustainable.

We work to enrich both public and policymaker understanding by promoting the benefits of sustainable and mutually beneficial school partnerships through research, targeted initiatives and impact analysis, working closely with schools across all sectors.

Our Vision

We aim to transform young lives, through the creation of a strategy for educational partnerships which will serve national educational needs. We envisage a future where all schools work together to support the educational, emotional and social needs and aspirations of the next generation and where these partnerships are recognised as a force for school improvement in their strategy and ability to deliver transformational pupil outcomes and impact.

We look forward to welcoming you into our network.

“The S.P.A. has been a valued partner to Harrow School in supporting thoughtful engagement with national education stakeholders, particularly through the leadership of its CEO, Joe, whose facilitation has opened constructive dialogue with policymakers and sector leaders. Through this relationship, the S.P.A. has helped create opportunities for Lumina, a programme founded at Harrow School during the pandemic to support care-experienced young people, to share learning and lived experience within policy and professional forums. This has enabled Lumina to contribute evidence from practice to wider discussions, including participation in senior stakeholder conversations within the Department for Education, reflecting the S.P.A.’s role as a convenor where collaboration is purposeful and impact-focused.”
